SA places huge rice order with Thailand
SA rice traders have ordered close to 700,000t of parboiled rice from Thailand, valued at a reported $420m. Priced higher than premium-grade white rice, the order confirms that Thailand is also the world's biggest exporter of parboiled rice - said to be of exceptional quality.
