New recyclable barrier trays developed in SA
 Traditional plastics such as PET, polypropylene (PP) and high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) are relatively permeable materials. This means that modified atmosphere gases ( MAP) when added to a tray will leak through, negating the effect of the MAP mix, and adversely affecting shelf life.

CANSA endorsement for Fair Cape's rooibos yoghurts
Fair Cape's innovations will take a quantum leap from October when its three rooibos yoghurts will begin bearing the CANSA (Cancer Association of SA) name and Smart Choice logo, as well as detailed health information related to rooibos. This is a first for any rooibos product.
